             Title
The proposed cycle network in the city of Velenje

                 Abstract
The article describes activities undertaken to conceptualise the cycle trails network in the Velenje Community. The goal of the project was to establish a safe, connected and efficient cycle network that would enable good accessibility to different urban services. The purpose of the cycle network would be daily use, such as commuting to work, school, recreation areas. The analysis pointed out many disadvantages of the current cycle routes. The present cycle network is disconnected, unsafe and has very bad accessibility to different urban services. Based on the analysis results and selected indicators we prepared a proposal for the improvements of the present cycle network.
